The National Wrestling Advancement Association (NWAA) piloted its first Mat/Life Integration Process called, 'WREST,' or Wrestling Reflection Educational Skills Training in September 2010.  From the beginning, WREST proved to be extremely effective for wrestlers on and off the mat.  Within weeks, WRESTlers were more self-aware and coachable; WRESTlers grades went up, social relationships improved, determination to succeed set-in, mat performance maximized.  Within months, we piloted the WREST program with former wrestlers, and the results were just as powerful: work performance increased, raises and promotions were the result.  WREST is a mat/life integration process that empowers wrestlers (current and former) to perform their best in life - on and off the mat using powerful reflection tools and methods adapted to sports/wrestling. “I am a big believer in the WREST process. It has been four months since my WREST experience in March, but I am still applying what I learned in both my personal and work life…. WREST has increased my confidence and faith in who I am and the unique value that I bring to my organization. This confidence is allowing me to stay the course for the things that I am doing right, while also allowing me to get out of my own way and not torpedo the opportunities that have come my way of late.” ~ Brad Kreiner, IT Analyst with John Deere Company '92 All American More »
